University of Guelph’s University Centre; 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. 

This 50th annual Fair November includes Canadian handcrafted goods including food, fashion, jewelry, pottery and more. Admissions is free.

Guelph Farmers’ Market

2 Gordon St.; 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Check out an abundance of fresh produce, baked goods, beverages, and products from local meat producers

Christmas Bazaar

Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate (28 Norfolk St.); 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This event is put on by the Catholic Women’s League. There will be vendors with jewelry, knitted items, home decor and more. Food like pies and baked goods will be set up at a table. There will also be refreshments, a chili lunch, silent auction and 50/50 draw.

Eramosa River Trail parkrun and parkwalk

Eramosa River Trail at 85 York Rd.; 9 a.m. to noon

A free weekly timed 5k run, jog, and walk kicks off just east of the covered bridge near The Boathouse. Newcomers are encouraged to join at 8:45 a.m.

Fair November

This is the 50th annual Fair November and it includes Canadian handcrafted goods including food, fashion, jewelry, pottery and more. Admissions is free.

Dublin Marketplace and Re-gifting Fair

Dublin Street United Church (68 Suffolk St.); 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

There will be vintage and gently used clothing. There will also be new and nearly new housewares and decor. Christmas decorations, a bridal shop, puzzles, toys and sports equipment will also be included. 

Elliott Community 2024 Holiday Market

The Elliott Community (170 Metcalfe St.); 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Festive market with shopping, treats, raffles and vendors. Admission is free.

Christmas Market

Parkwood Gardens Community Church (501 Whitelaw Rd.); 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

More than 50 craft vendors are expected at this market. Baked goods, Christmas greenery and gifts for pets will also be featured.

Christmas Market

The Village of Riverside Glen (60 Woodlawn Rd.); 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Residents have prepared crafts,  baked goods, Christmas decor, gift ideas and more. Proceeds go towards activities for residents.

Holy Trinity Catholic School Annual Winter Market

Holy Trinity Catholic School (487 Grange Rd.); 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Holiday shopping with more than 40 vendors. Admission is free and there will be complimentary coffee, tea and treats. Other food and beverages will be available for purchase. Donations will be accepted for the Food & Friends Program.

Guelph.Beer Bus 2024

Various brewery locations around the city; noon to 7 p.m.

It’s Guelph.Beer Day and to celebrate the Guelph.Beer Bus takes people to six brewery stops including Royal City Brewing, Sleeman Retail Store & Taproom, Fixed Gear Brewing, Brothers Brewing Company and Wrinkly Bear Brewing Company. The bus is free to ride but donations will be accepted on the bus to help support a scholarship fund for BIPOC students to attend the Niagara College brewing program. Guelph Storm vs. London Knights

WhollyTolerant Day Concert

10C Shared Space (42 Carden St.); 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Experience wellness through music at the Wholly AMusED Artist Showcase. General admission costs $11.98 each, with VIP tickets with general admission costing $22.63. More information here.

Celtic Orchestra Concert and Ceilidh

Red Chevron Club (34 Elizabeth St.); 7 to 9:30 p.m.

An evening full of live fiddle music and dance.The performances are from the Guelph Celtic Orchestra and Live Ceilidh Band and Ceilidh Dance. Tickets are $25 in advance online or $30 if tickets are still available. Tickets are $10 for children ages six to 16. 

Guelph Poetry Slam

Which Craft (91 Wyndham St. N.); 8:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.

An open mic, followed by a feature poet set and an interactive poetry slam competition.

Sunday

Giftables Market

Red Chevron Club (34 Elizabeth St.); noon to 4 p.m.

Holiday themed market put on by The Hive. There will be over 25 vendors with items to buy for gifting and the holiday season

Hike Starkey Hill

Starkey Hill (735 Arkell Rd.), Puslinch; 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Nature Guelph is putting on this informal hike with member Don McCarthy as a guide. The event is free but donations are welcome. For non-members of Nature Guelph, $5 is suggested and there are charitable receipts for donations over $10. To carpool to this event people are asked to meet by Dollarama at the Hartsland Plaza at Kortright and Edinburgh roads at 12:30 p.m.
