Guelph Storm vs. Flint Firebirds

Scareousel

Riverside Park; 6 to 9 p.m.
The City of Guelph's annual Scareousel event is this weekend. People are encouraged to wear costumes and there will be treats. The attraction has strobe lighting so it may affect people who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy or other photosensitivities.

Wicked Witches Halloween Market

Royal Canadian Legion at 57 Watson Pkwy.; 6 to 10 p.m.
Witchy themed market with over 40 vendors. Admission is free. At the vendor tables there will be trick-or-treating. The event also includes a potion bar with cocktails and mocktails, food from SUPPA Swirls and Lipiec Meats, costume contests for adults and children, a Halloween photo booth, raffle, and more.

Saturday

Guelph Farmers' Market

2 Gordon St.; 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Check out an abundance of fresh produce, baked goods, beverages, and products from local meat producers.

Eramosa River Trail parkrun and parkwalk

Eramosa River Trail at 85 York Rd.; 9 a.m. to noon
A free weekly timed 5k run, jog, and walk kicks off just east of the covered bridge near The Boathouse. Newcomers re encouraged to join at 8:45 a.m.

Downtown Guelph Trick-or-Treat

Downtown Guelph; noon until supplies last
This annual event is on for its sixth year. People are encouraged to come dressed in their Halloween costumes and get treats from participating businesses downtown. The event is for all ages.

BOOnanza!

Kortright Hills Public School at 23 Ptarmigan Dr.; noon to 2 p.m.
A costume party with family friendly activities and community vendor booths. Admission is a non-perishable food item for the Kortright Hills Neighbourhood Group's food pantry.

OUA Football

University of Guelph's Alumni Stadium; 1 p.m.
Guelph Gryphons vs. Ottawa Gee-Gees

Halloween Boo Bash

The Elliott Community at 170 Metcalfe St.; 2 p.m.
Wear your Halloween costumes for the costume parade and trick-or-treating. There will also be games and DIY trick-or-treat bag making. Children of all ages are welcome.

Market Haunt

Guelph Farmers' Market at 2 Gordon St.; 7 p.m.
Tickets are $22.63 and can be purchased online. It is for ages 19 and above for this Halloween party. The event is hosted by 10C. There will be live music, costumes, local beer and food. 

Sunday

Glass Clean Up at Crane Park

Crane Park at 96 Dovercliffe Rd.; 10 a.m. to noon
Help clean up glass along the trails near the park. It is advised not to bring your dog along with you due to the nature of the event.

Halloween Market

The Hive at 349 Elizabeth St.; 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Vendors, face painting, photos, pumpkin bowling and other activities. There will be a pumpkin vendor from someone who grows pumpkins in The Ward. This is set to be The Hive's last outdoor market of the season.

Halloween Bash

Guelph Farmers' Market at 2 Gordon St.; 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Punk Rock Flea Market presents its annual Halloween Bash at the Guelph Farmers' Market. Come out for a costume contest, scary live music, candy and more.

Haunted Curiosities Halloween Market

Red Chevron Club at 34 Elizabeth St.; noon to 6 p.m.
Spooky vendors and all things Halloween expected at this market. 

Junction Pumpkin Carving Party

Goldie Park at 63 Memorial Cres.; 1 to 3 p.m.
Family Friendly pumpkin craving event with free pumpkins and use of carving tools. Bring a mug for free hot chocolate and cider. This event is put on by The Junction Neighbourhood Group.

Guelph Storm vs. Brampton Steelheads

Satellite Collective's Costume Party 

Planet Bean at 2 Wyndham St.; 6 p.m.
Local live music volunteer group Satellite Collective brings a costume party and live music featuring punk rock band Sega Saturn The Console and surf rock band Hydrotonics. The event is is for all ages and its $10 or pay-what-you-can.
