Eramosa River Trail at 85 York Rd.; 9 a.m. to noon
A free weekly timed 5k run, jog, and walk kicks off just east of the covered bridge near The Boathouse. Newcomers are encouraged to arrive at 8:45 a.m.

DJ and dance party at the Guelph Legion (57 Watson Pkwy. S.) from 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.
A dance party featuring live music will be held at the Fergus Legion (500 Blair St. in Fergus) beginning at 8 p.m. and going until midnight.
