A fundraising concert is planned for the Guelph Army, Navy, Air Force Club on Gordon Street Thursday evening.

Proceeds from the concert will go to the Guelph Refugee Sponsorship Group to help with their efforts to re-settle a family of Syrian refugees in Guelph.

Peter and Paul: An Evening With the Saints, will feature local musicians Ambre McLean, Blue Tape, Timothy & Philip and Great Wooden Trio as they re-imagine the songs of Peter Gabriel and Paul Simon.

The show is part a series of tribute concerts organized by local musicians Brad Wood and Jeff Bersche.

"Jeff and I started the series last year,” Woods said.  “We did three last year and this is the first one this year. We know about this local group that is sponsoring a Syrian family here in the city so we decided to donate the proceeds to them.“

The show starts at 8pm and admission is pay what you can.

The ANAF Club is located at 32 Gordon Street just south of downtown.
