The StoneHammer Pilsner added to its impressive medal count by winning the Gold Medal in the German Pilsner category at the 2016 Ontario Brewing Awards in Toronto on Thursday, April 28.
The StoneHammer Oatmeal Coffee Stout added a Bronze Medal to its long list of awards.
“We are proud of the beers we produce. These awards are a reflection of the excellent production team we have at StoneHammer and would not have been possible without their hard work and dedication,” says Andrew Henry, Head Brewer at StoneHammer.
The Ontario Brewing Awards celebrate excellence in the province’s brewing industry, honouring the best beers in over 40 different style categories.
There was considerable competition this year given the phenomenal growth of the Ontario craft beer industry.
StoneHammer Brewing has a 20-year history of using handcrafted care and time-honoured methodology to brew beer with the finest natural ingredients from around the world.
StoneHammer’s lineup of award winning beers includes their Light Lager, Pilsner, Pale Ale, Dark Ale and Oatmeal Coffee Stout.
StoneHammer also produces a number seasonal and specialty “one-off” beers.
