3:30 p.m. update: the OPP say the area of an incident this afternoon involving a train and a minivan is now clear.

The southbound lanes of the Hanlon Expressway were closed as of 1:45 Monday afternoon due to a collision between a minivan and a freight train on a level crossing between Woodlawn Road and Speedvale Avenue.
The OPP closed both southbound lanes at Woodlawn as emergency services responded to the scene. Paramedics, firefighters and OPP are in attendance.
