Riverside Park will be packed with ribbers once again to finish off the summer of 2022.
The annual Ribfest Guelph will return as an in-person event August 26-28, complete with all the food and entertainment options you knew and loved before the pandemic.
"We did a whole drive-thru event last year, which did raise some funds for local community charities, but it was not nearly what we can accomplish with an in-person event," said Dan O'Donnell, one of the co-chairs for this year's event.
Eight different ribbers are expected, along with music acts from across southern Ontario, vendors, a beer tent and a midway.
Typically, O'Donnell said about 35,000 to 40,000 people attend through a three-day weekend, and hundreds of volunteers are required to fill several roles.
He said they're always looking for volunteers, and you can sign up by filling out a form online.
