A Guelph man faces charges after officers responding to a family dispute were confronted by an aggressive male Tuesday afternoon, Guelph police report.
Approximately 3:20 p.m. police were called to a south end residence, where the homeowner was asking to have a male relative removed from the property. Officers asked the male to leave but he refused, running into the backyard and going onto an elevated deck.
As officers continued to speak to the male, he came off the deck and walked aggressively towards them with clenched fists. A conducted energy weapon was deployed and the male was taken into custody.
