Male attacked with an axe
On March, 16, 2016, at 10 p.m., an altercation ensued at a south end residence between two parties known to each other.
As a result of this altercation, the accused a 42-year-old Guelph male struck the victim, a 29-year-old Guelph male, with an axe causing serious but, non- life threatening injuries.
The victim was transported to the GGH for treatment.
The accused is charged with aggravated assault, assault with weapon and weapons dangerous.
He was held for a bail hearing.
