A large sum of money is heading to local families just in time for the holidays.
The Cops and Kids program has raised more than $211,000 this year. This includes nearly $16,200 raised through Guelph police staff and its recent bake sale.
The money will go to help 23 local families this holiday season.
The charitable organization is dedicated to helping children who may otherwise not have a special Christmas morning.
