Guelph Hydro reports that 1,003 customers are currently without power.
The affected area is largely just east of Downtown Guelph in the Grange Hill and Elizabeth Street area, although there are also a few areas just west of downtown affected.
No reason for the outage was given and no time frame on when power might be restored.
