A Guelph neighbourhood had home delivery of mail cut off and residents were fearing for their safety, all because of a group of dogs that were running loose after getting out of their back yard.
The dogs lived in a home on Algoma Drive. The owner claimed they were escaping from the backyard.
All people knew was that they were afraid to walk in the neighbourhood with their own leached dogs and wary of letting their children play.
Eventually the dog owners were charged following an investigation by bylaw officers and the Guelph Humane Society.
