A new set of golden arches is ready to open with the east end McDonald’s doors opening on Monday, May 9 at 8:00 a.m.
Proposed nearly two years ago, The restaurant was part of a proposal that includes a gas station, drive-through car wash and a separate retail store for the southeast corner of the Eastview Road/Watson Parkway Intersection.
Located at 445 Watson Pkwy. N., this is the city's fifth location.
A number of festivities are scheduled as part of opening day.
In November of 2020, a series of variances were approved for the east end construction, with the city's Committee of Adjustment approving three minor variances needed for the project to move forward.
