A new HomeSense is opening at Stone Road Mall.
On Tuesday, Oct. 20, residents will be able to visit the new store, which will operate from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.
According to the HomeSense website, Guelph isn’t the only city in Canada to be welcoming a new store that day. Calgary will also be opening a new HomeSense store at 10 a.m.
Situated in a former section of the old Sears store, HomeSense will occupy part of the newly developed space at the mall with other stores, Mark’s and Toys R Us.
Stone Road Mall operational manager, R. Scott Lindsay, says workers are hard at work preparing the store for opening day.
“Right now, they’re in there like busy bees, stocking up shelves and working hard.” says Lindsay.
With this location, Guelph will have two HomeSense stores. The other store location is on Woodlawn Road West.
