To remember the victims from the attacks in Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, and those who are still in captivity, the Jewish community at the University of Guelph and local community members are hosting a memorial gathering.
It will be on Oct. 7 at Branion Plaza at 6:30 p.m. The gathering will include musician tributes, a candle-lighting ceremony, video greetings from Israel and addresses from elected officials.
The event poster indicated it's a time for reflection and memory a year after Oct. 7.
