One of Guelph's beloved restaurants is getting set to reopen.
Town and Country Restaurant will be open "soon" says the landlord of the property it's situated on at 883 Eramosa Rd., on the city's eastern fringe.
The restaurant will be run by its most recent owners and the original owner will also be involved.
Town and Country originally opened in 1981 and became a staple for its breakfasts and Saturday night family dinners.
It closed in April 2023 after a fire inside the building.
Workers are now inside getting it ready for reopening. No date has been set.
