Celebrate the magic and warmth of the season with the Guelph Symphony Orchestra, in an afternoon of sparkling holiday favourites, timeless classic carols, and glorious movie themes from The Polar Express to Elf.
Conductor, Maria Fuller
Special guests: Guelph Symphony Youth Orchestra and the GSO Arietta Singers
Maestra Fuller will be leading the orchestra and chorus in a captivating holiday performance! As an ardent fan of Christmas, she has infused her enthusiasm for the season throughout the entire program, even arranging several pieces specifically for the GSO.
Maria has worked with over 25 orchestras and opera companies across Canada. This season, she has debut engagements with the Łódź Theatre in Poland, the State Theatre in Prague, Kamloops Symphony, and her very own Ammolite Opera company.
“Maria emanates a remarkable warmth and energy from the podium, while simultaneously conveying commanding leadership and profound musical expertise,” said Catherine Molina, the orchestra’s general manager, “and we can't wait for her to bring the holiday spirit to life”!
