On Halloween day, people throughout the city were quite open to the idea of trying on a pair of goofy glasses and making themselves look a bit silly.
Willingly putting on a $4 pair of novelty glasses made a number of people giddy with laughter Monday morning. Only one person declined the request.
The speed with which participants put on the glasses and embodied the ridiculousness of them, was impressive. It seems the spirit of Halloween had a firm hold on all.
