The Guelph Symphony Orchestra (GSO) will present its annual Dreams of Vienna Concert at River Run Centre on Jan.1, at 3 p.m.

GSO will be ringing in the New Year with your favourite Strauss waltzes, familiar melodies, soaring arias and Viennese-inspired revelry. GSO’s Dreams of Vienna concert is a delightfully joyous tradition – it’s the perfect way to bid a fond farewell to an old year while ushering in a new one.

  • Conductor: Adam Johnson
  • Soprano: Jonelle Sills
  • Special guests: the Royal City School of Ballet

"We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Jonelle Sills to sing with our orchestra,” said Catherine Molina, the orchestra’s general manager. “Jonelle is a rising star with a compelling stage presence.”

Sills recently made debut as a soloist with the National Arts Centre Orchestra and as Mimi in Canadian Opera Company’s production of La Bohème. Sills was named in Canada’s 30 hot classical musicians under 30 for 2020 by CBC Music.

Tickets are available through the River Run Box Office or through the link here.
