The Guelph Storm has solved its problem of having too many overage players.
The team announced today that overage forward Ryan McGuire has joined the Caledonia Corvairs of the GOJHL.
Guelph had four overage players and can only dress three. They also had to be down to three overagers by the OHL trade deadline on Jan. 10.
The Burlington native was a third round draft pick in 2020. In 190 career games for Guelph he scored 19 goals and had 27 assists.
This season he played 14 games and had three goals and two assists. He had been a healthy scratch in the past several games.
