Guelph federal Liberal candidate Dominique O’Rourke is taking an unpaid absence from her role as Guelph city councillor during the federal election.

On March 23, O’Rourke announced on her councillor X account she will pause monitoring the social media page until April 30 and will be taking an absence from city council.

She directed Ward 6 residents to contact fellow Ward 6 councillor Ken Yee Chew if they need assistance.
