The second annual Guelph Juggling Festival is coming to the city a the end of the month.
Up to 200 jugglers and wannabe jugglers will hit the University of Guelph Campus from May 25 to May 27.
Free workshops, an evening performance at War Memorial Hall and a joggling race are all part of the activities.
"We started as a mini-festival a few years ago and we're definitely growing," said Emily Moore, a juggler and member of the organizing committee.
The official itinerary kicks off Saturday morning with a 5 km joggling (juggling while jogging) race at Oak Street Park in the city's south end.
At 11 a.m. Saturday a series of free workshops take place in the University of Guelph's University Centre.
'We have workshops for all levels of jugglers, from beginners up," Moore said.
The highlight of the day will be the performance at War Memorial Hall starting at 7 p.m. Saturday.
The paid show ($10 with a promo code) will feature headliner Willem McGowan, the diaboloist and juggler from École de cirque de Québec. A variety of performers will display a variety of techniques, including hoop manipulation, at the show.
"It's going to be a great show for anyone interested in performance art," Moore said.
There will also be record-setting attempts with cash prizes on Saturday and a table for people to sell used props.
More free workshops take place on Sunday.
