Gallagher Camacho, the dynamic jazz duo from Guelph, is thrilled to announce the release of their latest album Five Nights In Autumn on Monday. This much-anticipated release brings together the talents of bassist Liam Gallagher and guitarist Mitch Camacho, whose unique chemistry and skillful blend of jazz standards create a sound that is both relaxed and energetic.
The 70-minute, 10-track album was recorded from intimate live performances at Guelph venues including The Cornerstone, La Poche, and Up the Stairs. The album invites listeners of all kinds to enjoy the jazz in an accessible way that never sacrifices depth or authenticity as Gallagher Camacho lean into the dynamism of duet playing.
Five Nights In Autumn delivers an inviting mix of familiar jazz standards with refreshing interpretations that offer “new ideas in familiar but unexpected places.” The album embodies Gallagher Camacho’s commitment to creating joyful and welcoming music that appeals to seasoned jazz fans and newcomers alike.
To celebrate the album launch, Gallagher Camacho will be performing three local shows in November:
- The Cornerstone on Nov. 15 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
- Flight Cafe on Nov. 23 from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- La Poche on Nov. 28 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
