Guelph advertising veteran Liz O’Donnell joins GuelphToday team

GuelphToday.com has hired former Guelph Mercury Senior Account Executive Liz O’Donnell as Advertising Manager.

Liz, who worked at the daily for 12 years until its closure this past January, has more than two decades of sales and client service experience.

Joining the city's independent, local online news site is a perfect fit for Liz. “Digital is how people are receiving their news. And advertisers can see exactly how many people are seeing their ads,” said Liz. “GuelphToday offers me the opportunity to continue a natural progression in digital sales, after working in that landscape for the past five years at Metroland. Relationship building has always been my priority and I look forward to continuing to serve my clients in my new role with GuelphToday.”

With a reputation for being fiercely local, GuelphToday’s parent company Village Media always puts the emphasis on experienced members of each community it serves. As a longtime Guelph resident, Liz embodies those qualities perfectly. Not only is she dedicated to her clients, but to her community as well. The married mother of two is a regular volunteer who is involved with a number of local charities. She has spent endless hours in the local rinks as a hockey and figure skating mom.

Liz can be contacted by email at: [email protected] or by phone at (519) 993-2571

Welcome to the GuelphToday team, Liz!
