The Guelph Police Service is seeking interested residents to participate in an upcoming Citizens’ Police Academy.  

Our Police Academies allow our police members to share their knowledge and experiences with participants in a comfortable environment.  

This Academy will run on Thursday evenings, from 6-8 p.m., between Feb. 6 and March 13 inclusive. These interactive sessions include topics such as emergency response, human trafficking, tactics and rescue and forensic identification. There is no charge to attend the sessions.  

Our Citizens’ Police Academies aim to enhance public safety through education while building trust and understanding between the police service and our community.  

Registration is required. If you are interested in attending, please provide your information via the ‘Community Police Academy Interest Form’ at the Community Policing page of our website. Maximum 40 participants.
