The Covered Bridge over the Speed River is temporarily closed for repairs.
The City of Guelph posted on social media Thursday afternoon it would be closed for stair and ramp repair work.
The bridge offers a pedestrian route over the Speed River between York Road and Gordon Street. There will be no access to the bridge during repairs.
A detour route will be clearly noted with signs on site. The city recommends travelling along Wyndham Street South to Wellington Street East to Gordon Street to get around.
It's not yet clear when it will reopen, but updates will be shared online when available.
