The season’s first “significant weather event” is officially over. City officials called an end to the declaration shortly after 9 a.m. on Monday.
It has been in place since 5 p.m. on Friday.
Since then, the city has seen nearly 26 cm of snowfall, according to Environment Canada.
On-street parking was prohibited during the event in an effort to assist with snow clearing efforts. A city-wide plow-out was conducted during the weekend.
