People protesting the Wet'suwet'en Indigenous land dispute are blocking the intersection of Wellington Street and Gordon Street in all directions.
The organized protest marched from the Guelph Farmers' Market down to the intersection at roughly 12:30 p.m.
There are roughly 60 protesters. They said they plan on staying there for a few hours.
Police are on scene but staying on the periphery of the group and at 1 p.m. appeared to be setting up to redirect traffic around the protest.
Buses and cars were backed up in all directions.
