The Guelph Fire Department is ready to hose you down for the return of Hot Summer Nights to learn more about fire and emergency safety.

It is recommended to bring a swimsuit, towel and water bottle to this in-person event. Emergency crews from the fire department, police service and paramedics will be there to answer questions. Fire trucks, emergency vehicles, and equipment will be set up to learn more about. There will be activities and people can meet first responders to get a better understanding of how they deal with emergencies.

Attendees should be advised that emergency crews may have to leave unexpectedly to respond to an emergency.

The first Hot Summer Nights event will be on July 14 at Margaret Greene Park between 6:30 p.m. and 7:45.

Hot Summer Nights will continue throughout the rest of the summer at six other parks in Guelph.

  • Grange Road Park, July 21
  • Exhibition Park, July 28
  • Orin Reid Park, August 4
  • Waverley Park, August 11
  • Oak Street, August 18
  • Riverside Park, August 25
