A pair of award-winning musical veterans are bringing an exclusive tour to Guelph next month.
Marc Jordan and Amy Sky will take the stage at the River Run Centre on May 11.
Jordan and Sky, the married couple of 36 years, will play their own music individually before they say the “real magic comes” when the two sing together.
Jordan’s described as having a “smoky, jazz-tinged voice,” while Sky comes in with a “gutsy, gravelly alto.”
Their first album He Sang, She Sang was nominated for adult contemporary album of the year at the 2023 Juno Awards.
Jordan has been on the music scene since the 1970s, and has 16 albums to his credit.
He has also taken home numerous individual awards as an artist, composer and songwriter.
Of note, he co-wrote Rhythm of My Heart, which Rod Stewart later recorded as a single.
Sky has released 12 solo albums, and has collaborated with a number of artists over the years, including Olivia Newton-John.
Their son, a budding artist named Ezra Jordan, will also be performing.
The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are still available.
