Art Not Shame is hosting a new weekly social art-making gathering time called Open Art Circle.

They have created this free, open art-making time to invite folks to play, create, socialize and see where their inspiration takes them.

This is a perfect reset for those that want to reconnect with themselves and their creativity. No experience necessary! All ages (children 12 and under need a guardian present). Just come play!

Art Not Shame has recently opened the doors to their brand new, low-barrier, accessible and inclusive community arts space. They welcome you to bring a warm drink, a treat and catch the fall vibes. The best part? All supplies are provided, you just show up and enjoy the prompts and ideas provided by Art Not Shame. Have your own project? You can bring that too!

“We really just want to offer a bit of time and space for folks to come and create! This is time for yourself, you can journal, doodle or just see what happens when you put some watercolour blobs on paper,” say program creator Maeve Hind.

Open Art Circle will run Thursdays from Oct. 17 - Dec. 12, 2024

Time: Drop in, 3 to 5 p.m.

Where: Art Not Shame, 119 Wyndham St. N.

Accessibility: Fully accessible (for details please see our accessibility guide at: https://artnotshame.org/new-space)

Cost: FREE

Ages: All ages welcome. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by a guardian.
