Pirates, scallywags, wenches and vagabonds galore will descend on Marden Park on the August long weekend as the Pirate Festival returns for another year.
Music, interactive theatre, The Mudd Show and a variety of entertainers take to the stage, there is a vendor's area and a variety of interactive offerings.
The event runs at the Marden Park from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 5, 6 and 7, with a licenced Captain's Keg event for those 19 and over set for 7 p.m. on Aug. 5.
Admission is $10 for children, $15 for adults and $10 for seniors. Children under 5 are free.
Festival goers are encouraged to dress up for the event.
