Students at a Guelph high school have stepped up to help families during the holidays.
John F. Ross students raised money and food through its annual F.R.O.S.T.Y. event to finish up the pre-Christmas portion of the school year.
In all, students collected 244 holiday food hampers heading to the Guelph Food Bank and over 3,000 items for the school’s breakfast program. In addition, $6,000 is heading to Hope House and $1,000 is going to the John F. Ross Wellness Centre.
John F. Ross has been holding this event since 1985.
