The Guelph Public Library is offering 1,000 Books Before Grade One program. The program runs all-year at every library location. Children who have yet to enter Grade 1 are eligible to participate.

To participate, pick up a reading log at your library and fill in each circle to mark progress. Once the booklet is completed with 100 books read you may bring your child to the library and they can claim a reward. Once they read 1000 books they can visit the Main Library Children’s Department to receive their certificate and prize.
