Overview: Founded in 2006, the Guelph Youth Basketball Association (GYBA) was established through the unification of seven local basketball clubs to streamline youth basketball in the Guelph area. GYBA is a registered not-for-profit organization focused on offering top-quality basketball programs to youth aged 5 to 18, emphasizing not only basketball skills but also life skills such as teamwork, sportsmanship, and responsibility.
Mission: To provide youth with opportunities to participate and compete in a positive environment that fosters fundamental basketball skills while promoting teamwork, integrity, and personal growth.

Jr. Gryphons Development Program:
Formerly known as Hustle House League, this recreational basketball program provides a welcoming space for players aged 5 to 18. The focus is on skill development, inclusivity, and teaching the fundamentals of basketball.
Runs weekly from October to February, offering age-appropriate sessions (1 hour for ages 5-6 and 1.5 hours for ages 7+).
Each participant receives a jersey, shooting shirt, and cinch bag.
2024-25 season begins October 19, 2024, at a cost of $175 per player.
Select teams get the opportunity to perform at a Gryphons Half Time Show.
