Mike has served as the Member of Provincial Parliament for Guelph since 2018.
Mike meets with constituents and community groups to hear their concerns to better represent them at Queen’s Park. He works across party lines to stand up for housing affordability, publicly funded health care, solutions to the climate crisis and more.
When in Guelph, Mike attends hundreds of events to connect with constituents. He also visits schools, businesses, community centres and clubs to hear people’s ideas and concerns.
Growing up on his family farm, Mike has always had a deep interest in food and farming, sustainability, and the environment. Prior to entering politics, Mike successfully ran his own organic food business which aimed to promote sustainable practices and support local farmers.
In his downtime, Mike enjoys reading, cooking and spending time with his family and friends. As a lover of the outdoors, Mike spends his summers biking, hiking and going on canoe trips with his family.
