Rotary Club of Guelph Trillium

About Us

The Rotary Club of Guelph Trillium was chartered in October 1991. Today, the club has over 50 members and annually hosts one of Guelph’s favourite festivals, Ribfest.  Since its inception, the club has raised over

$1,200,000 from Ribfest and other fundraising activities all of which goes to support local and international projects. Our very first international project was an orphanage in Nepal. We are also a major partner in the Tour de Guelph each year which raises funds for the Guelph General Hospital Foundation. For more details about our club check out our website at: https://www.trilliumrotary.org/

Service Above Self is a cornerstone of Rotary and our club focuses on supporting local organizations through service and financial support.  Each year we invite organizations to apply for funds for worthy projects in Guelph and the surrounding area.  Our approach to providing funds is “an inch deep and a mile wide” which allows us to support more organizations with smaller amounts each year.  Our 25th Anniversary project was a $25,000 donation to the Silvercreek Skate Park.

Key Fundraisers and Events:

  • Ribfest - Guelph’s Largest summer Festival held the last weekend of August each year
  • Scotch Nosing - an evening of fine dining and “tasting” fine scotch selections - February each year
  • Tour de Guelph - the Rotary Club of Guelph Trillium and the Rotary Club of Guelph South partner with Guelph General Hospital Foundation in June each year
  • Rain Barrel Sale - 1st Annual sale ended on May 20th, 2021. Watch for our 2022 sale!

Proudly serving the region for 100 years, the Rotary Clubs of Guelph-Wellington consist of seven clubs each dedicated to supporting multiple local charities, institutions, and international humanitarian projects.

Our clubs engage community leaders to support the work of Rotary International with a local, city-core focus on community, families, and children in need.
