The Guelph Police Association (GPA) works to uphold the honour of the police profession and to elevate the standards of policing.  They also endeavour to promote a healthy and strong relationship with the community.

They have many community initiatives such as golf tournaments, 'Lids for Kids' which provides helmets for children that can't afford one; Tim Horton's Camp Day; and the Shelldale Teen Turkey Dinner.
