Come hang out on Saturday mornings at the Guelph Humane Society for fun-filled animal programming!
The GHS Kids Critter Club runs on Saturday mornings from 9:00am - 10:00am from January 11, 2025 to March 1, 2025. With animal interactions, crafts and activities, Critter Club offers children the ability to learn more about how the Guelph Humane Society helps animals and its role in the community, proper animal care, and how they too can help animals in our community on a weekly basis. Each week, children will have the opportunity to meet animals, make crafts and participate in animal-themed activities – sounds PAWsome, right!?

About Us
Hope. Care. Compassion.
The Guelph Humane Society (GHS) advocates for all animals, and in particular those animals whose lives it can influence, through care, education, community support, protection, and leadership. Founded in 1893, the Guelph Humane Society provides care and shelter for approximately 3,000 homeless, stray, injured and abused animals each year in Guelph and Wellington County. GHS is a registered charitable, non-profit organization that does not receive government funding. Visit www.guelphhumane.ca to discover more.
In March 2021, GHS moved into its new, state-of-the-art facility at 190 Hanlon Creek Blvd. This 18,000 sq ft building (compared to the 3,000 sq ft building GHS operated out of for the last 50 years) was built with the highest standards of animal welfare in mind. It’s not just an animal shelter – it’s a community animal centre. And it was built to grow with our community as the population continues to expand. Learn more about the new building at www.UnleashingHope.ca.
