College Royal is the largest university open house event of its kind in North America. Each March, the University of Guelph opens its doors to the general public in a campus-wide open house that attracts thousands of visitors every year. For students, staff, and alumni, College Royal is also a 12-day long event that includes popular events like Kick-Off Pub, Super Thursday, Livestock Shows, Square Dancing, Kick It Up Fashion Show, and much, much more. College Royal is a 100% student run and organized event. Whether you are a member of the general public curious to see what goes on at the "university on the hill", or a student looking to become involved, we invite you to join us. For the general public we invite you to come check out the very unique College Royal Kick It Up Fashion show and visit the campus for Open House Weekend. Held during the last weekend of March Break each year, Open House Weekend is a chance to explore the university campus and see what the professors and students are up to. College Royal is a ​FREE event for the entire family. Each year we welcome over 20,000 visitors.
