Sarah Ferguson

Manager, Community Engagement

It is a privilege to be able to give back to a community that has given me so much and the place I have called home for 30+ years.

I have the privilege of working on our Foundation events, including Black Tie Bingo and Tour de Guelph. I also get to work with members of the community and local businesses to help them run their own fundraising events in support of Guelph General. I am also the point person for our 50/50 Hospital Lottery and Split the Pot. This allows me to see firsthand the support we receive from our generous donors and community.

Every day when I come into work I get to witness the generous contributions made to the Hospital through fundraising and donations. At some point, someone we know within our community will need the services provided at GGH. Knowing the great work we do with our partners to make that happen is an amazing feeling.

About The Foundation of Guelph General Hospital

At Guelph General Hospital, every dollar spent on equipment used in the direct care of patients comes from a donor. Not all essential costs are covered by government funding.
