Loblaws Companies Ltd. says three of its local stores recently each had an employee test positive for COVID-19.
On Tuesday the company updated its web site with the most recent case, in which an employee at the Shoppers Drug Mart on Clair Road West tested positive for COVID-19. The last day the employee worked was Dec. 28.
On Monday the company reported an employee at its Zehrs store on Eramosa Road had tested positive. The last day the employee worked was Dec. 26.
On Jan. 1 the company reported an employee at its Zehrs store on Kortright Road West, who last worked on Dec. 28, had also tested positive.
The company says for transparency it keeps the reporting of positive test results at its stores online for 15 days, but for privacy reasons does not release personal information about those affected.
