Meet Spencer!
Spencer is a popular guy! Wherever he goes, he makes friends with his jolly personality. He has also been on social media and featured in the GHS Spring Paw Press this year, he is kind of a big deal!
This lovable guy has been working hard on his weight loss journey. Since January, Spencer has lost approximately 40lbs and counting (go Spencer!), but he still needs to lose a bunch more weight to feel his best. His new family will need to be dedicated to working with him to continue this health journey.
Spencer is friendly with dogs and cats…he would love a friend to play and snuggle with. His ideal home would be a mature home with a respectful and patient family who will give him space when he needs it. Due to his size he can have some pain, he would appreciate his new family to not touch his sore spots as it just does not feel good for him.
He is a friendly guy but does have a stubborn side to him especially when he does not want to do something. He just likes to do things in his own time! Patience and positive encouragement will be a need for his new family.
