Lajoie Bros. Contracting Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and dynamic Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our company, the Receptionist will play a key role in supporting the administration team and maintaining the smooth operation of our office. This individual will be responsible for carrying out various administrative functions and ensuring a positive experience for visitors, clients, and external partners.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Supporting the day-to-day administrative needs of the Administration team.
•Providing exceptional customer service internally and externally to employees and clients.
•Providing project assistance with document correspondence, reviewing, formatting, reproduction, scanning, binding, and filing.
•Conducting research, compiling data and preparing documents.
•Performing administrative responsibilities including maintaining filing systems and databases, booking meetings, maintaining and ordering office supplies, shipping and receiving field gear and documents.
•Fulfilling receptionist duties including assisting clients, accepting and distributing mail, answering phones and creating a work order process.
•Provide professional customer service to all clients and community partners.
•Performing other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
•Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Office Administration, Business Administration would be an asset.
•A minimum of 5-year experience in a receptionist role is required.
•Experience working in a similar capacity in a Construction, Consulting, Engineering, or Science firm would be an asset.
•Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
•Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office program features specifically Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
•Strong research and writing skills, ability to present information concisely and clearly.
•Excellent organizational skills, ability to implement and maintain systems of organization.
