York Road closure from Audrey Avenue to Victoria Road South until end of December

The next stage of York Road reconstruction is expected to begin on October 7. At this time, York Road will be closed from Audrey Avenue to Victoria Road South. This closure is anticipated to last until December 2024. The City and its contractor, Navacon Construction Inc., will continue work to replace water, sanitary sewer and storm sewer pipes along York Road. The contractor will also replace the curbs and sidewalks and replave the road.

As the City transitions to this next stage of construction, York Road will reopen from Brockville Avenue to Audrey Avenue.

Businesses remain open

All local businesses remain open during construction. During this stage of construction, please access businesses via Stevenson Street South. Look for the 'Business Open' signs to help direct you to the York Road area.
