Danick Miguel Bourgeois, wanted for second-degree murder in the 2015 death of Frederick 'John' Hatch near Erin, has been named one of Canada's most wanted fugitives.

Danick Miguel Bourgeois, a man wanted for second-degree murder in connection with the death of Frederick ‘John’ Hatch, whose body was found near Erin nine years ago, remains one of Canada’s most wanted criminals.

Bourgeois is number 22 on the annual 25-person list by the BOLO Program, a third party national program.

He was number 13 on the list a year ago and number eight in 2022.

Investigators renewed their appeal during a press conference in Toronto Tuesday.

He is wanted for second-degree murder for an incident that took place in December 2015.

Hatch’s body was found at the scene of a brush fire east of 10th Line and south of Wellington Road 124, east of Erin. He was last seen a day earlier in Nepean.

Wellington County OPP identified Bourgeois as a suspect in 2020, and a Canada-wide warrant was issued in May 2021.

A $50,000 reward is being offered by the province for information leading to the arrest and conviction “of the person(s) responsible for the murder of Frederick ‘John’ Hatch.”

The program says Bourgeois is from St. Albert, ON, but add he could be anywhere in Canada.

He is 32-years-old, and described as 5’8”, 148 lbs, has brown eyes and is last known to have black hair.
