Police are investigating after a man sustained a serious facial injury Monday morning.
Just after 9 a.m. police received several 911 calls about an injured man near the intersection of Waterloo Avenue and Edinburgh Road South. Officers located a man with a significant laceration to his nose and lip. He refused to provide information, claiming he had fallen.
Officers followed a blood trail and discovered a broken glass bottle with blood on it. The male was transported to hospital for treatment of his injuries.
