A Guelph man was arrested for dangerous driving Thursday after a cyclist was intentionally run off the road, say Guelph police.
Approximately 3:35 p.m. emergency services were called to the area of Arrow Road and Fair Road for a report of an injured male. Investigation revealed the cyclist had been involved in an argument a short time earlier with another male outside a nearby business.
When the cyclist left the area the other male followed in his car, clipping the bicycle’s front wheel and causing the cyclist to be ejected. A 64-year-old Guelph man was transported to hospital for treatment of his injuries.
A 35-year-old Guelph man is charged with dangerous driving.
