TOTH, Agnes Sheila (Millar) – passed away peacefully Saturday April 27, 2024, with her daughters by her side.

Agnes was born August 7, 1943, in Sydney Mines Cape Breton to the late Alex and Gertrude Millar. Agnes was one of four children which included being an identical twin. She was hard worker, strong willed woman. Huge Blue Jay baseball fan and loved the simpler things in life such as a good cup of tea with a raisin scone, her dog Molly, yellow roses and outings with friends or time spent with family. She devoted her life supporting her daughters' happiness and one of her greatest joys was being a grandmother.

Agnes will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Karen (Tony) and Maureen (Peter). Grandsons who she was so proud of, Kenny (Kelsey), Zachary (Carreon) and Zachary (Jacques).

She was a beloved sister to Wayne (Laura), Ann and the late Keith. Sister-in-Law to Bob (Christy) and will be missed by her closest friends Terry, Raye, Diane, and Phyllis.

A tree in her memory will be planted at the Guelph Arboretum and she will make her final journey home to Cape Breton to be with her parents.

Many thanks to the wonderful staff at Wellington Hospice for their care and compassion in allowing our mother to pass with dignity, empathy, and loving care. All of you are truly angels who walk among us.

We ask in lieu of flowers or cards; a donation be made to Wellington Hospice in our mothers’ memory.
