Passed away peacefully in the care of Hospice Wellington on Saturday, December 14th, 2024, at the age of 80.
Art was born in Guelph, ON, on October 25th, 1944, to Robert Ralston and Annie Stevenson. Left to mourn his loss is his wife Sherida (Sherry) Ralston and son Brett Ralston and daughter-in-law Ashley Page. Beloved grandfather of Kaylee, Ethan, Ricky, and Seth.
Art worked over the years for CN Railway and drove tractor trailers for Hammond Manufacturing for many years. He always had a passion for woodworking, antique cars and trucks. He loved to spend time at car shows as well as truck pulls. He took pride in caring for his family, home, and property. Art was an extraordinary son, husband, father, and grandfather who always prioritized his family. He would lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Art was the most honorable man and was deeply loved.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Guelph General Hospital on Level 4 – West and the ParaMed PSWs. We would also like to thank Doctor Graham and the incredible staff from Hospice Wellington.
